Your Child's First Visit
You should bring your child in for their first visit when their first tooth erupts or by age one, whichever comes first. The areas pediatricians are great at referring families to see us around this time and this early and informative visit helps us establish an oral care routine to minimize your child's risk for getting cavities.
During this and all visits, we use kid-friendly terms and examples to first tell and show your child how we're keeping their smile healthy before actually doing anything. Our goal is to create a dental home where children and parents feel comfortable and are excited to return every six months.
