Dr. Elise Vincelette is an Invisalign Certified Orthodontic Specialist. As an orthodontist who specializes in Invisalign, she is uniquely qualified to understand every aspect of moving teeth and creating beautiful smiles.
While any dentist can be an Invisalign provider, Orthodontist specialists have trained for an additional 2-3 years to understand all aspects of treating both adults snd children with crowding and bite issues. So why not stick with a specialist in Orthodontics when choosing your Invisalign provider…
We are located less than 3 miles from the Haverhill, Massachusetts state line and provide Invisalign Clear Braces / Aligners as well as conventional ceramic and metal braces for patients of all ages.
Your treatment begins with a free consultation with Dr. Elise. These appointments can be scheduled in the morning or afternoons and if you have x-rays or other information from a prior office, please bring it with you.
Keep in mind that not all dentists or orthodontists are familiar with Invisalign. Dr. Elise has received specialized Invisalign training so she can truly evaluate your needs and determine how Invisalign can best help you.
During the consultation, Dr. Elise will examine you and then discuss your case in detail. Together you will determine if you are a good candidate for Invisalign. This will also be your chance to ask any questions about Invisalign, including costs or any other concerns.
We will take x-rays, pictures and impressions of your teeth which Invisalign uses to create a 3-D digital image of them. From this, Dr. Elise will design a precise treatment plan that includes the exact movements of your teeth and the approximate length of your treatment. While each patient’s case is unique, our patients are typically done in one year. Teens who are candidates for “Invisalign Teen” are usually done within 6-18 months.
A set of custom-made clear aligners is then created specifically for you. These clear aligners are very comfortable to wear and will not bother your cheeks or gums like conventional metal braces do. Made of a BPA-free plastic, simply wear them throughout the day, except when eating or brushing/flossing. As you progress from one aligner to another, your teeth will gently shift into a better position. And because they are clear, even your friends may not notice them!
Approximately every two weeks, we will give you a new set of aligners which transition you to the next stage of your treatment.
We will have you into the office approximately every six weeks to monitor your progress. Ideally you should wear your aligners for 20 to 22 hours per day, throughout the time you are in treatment. And because the Aligners are clear, you can actually see the progress you are making the entire time. Plus you can take them out for important social or business functions!
It is time to SMILE. Once your treatment is complete, it is time to preserve that beautiful new smile we have created. We will provide you with a set of retainers to keep you looking great. These will also naturally be clear as well and there are some great options here. We will discuss these options as you get close to finishing up.
